MURDER BY ARRANGEMENT
Murder by Arrangement is a branch of
BRAMPTON MUSIC THEATRE & PEEL PLAYERS
We
have been performing murder mysteries for the past ten years. We
perform for businesses, church groups, social clubs and private parties.
Our
shows are usually in four scenes. We perform the first scene
before the meal commences and the following scenes between
courses. We do not perform while the guests are eating. At
the conclusion of the performance the guests write down their guess as
to who the murderer is. The winner receives two tickets
to the coming musical or comedy by one of the above groups.
We
incorporate guests into the show and after each scene the guests are
invited to question the suspects. Of course, the suspects are
under no obligation to tell the truth! We can work around a buffet meal.
The show runs approximately 2 to 2.1/2 hours including the meal.
Our current production is WINNER TAKES ALL.
Synopsis:
Bank Manager Chuck Mavery was gambling at a Casino in Vegas and having
the biggest winning streak of his life. A crowd gathered around
the craps table to join the excitement. Suddenly a scuffle broke
out. Chuck fell to the floor clutching his neck. Within
minutes he had succumbed to the deadly effects of the poison,
curare. His luck had run out. The suspects are:
Clara Smith who had just won $1,000,000 in a lottery.
Joey Zinger, a stand up comedian.
Katie Morgan, a casino dealer.
Lucky Nick, a billionaire and professional gambler.
Cookie Daniels, Nick’s vivacious financee.
Dr. Julius Prescott. A world renowned plastic surgeon
Tony Bonello the Casino manager.
Brigitte Damien. Owner of an escort service.
COST:
$10 per person (minimum $200) up to 50 people. Between 50 and 100
people attending the price is a flat $500.00. Limited to 100
people.
N.B. As these shows are presented over the dinner hour, refreshments for the performers are appreciated.
